Foundations

At Cabiny, we have chosen to use ground screws, as this is a modern, eco-friendlier foundation solution that replaces the need for concrete foundations. They are galvanised steel screws of different diameters and lengths designed to act as a strong, secure, and durable foundation. We believe in our products and back the structural integrity of every screw with a 35-year guarantee based on typical soil conditions.

Structural

When it comes to the structure, we have chosen to use Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) as these are one of the most airtight and well-insulated building systems available, allowing for better control over indoor environmental conditions. Reduced energy consumption for heating and cooling throughout the building's life is SIPs' most substantial contribution to preserving the environment.

Walls

Through our use of fibre cement cladding, trim, and backer board, we ensure superior durability and sustainability in every extension. Withstanding moisture, fire, pests, and rot, fibre cement ensures long-lasting structural integrity. Its low maintenance requirements and eco-friendly nature underscore our commitment to providing clients with enduring, premium-quality extensions.

Floor

We choose Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) flooring for every installation. LVT offers durability, water resistance, and versatile design options, making it perfect for extensions. Windows & Doors

We prioritise quality and comfort by installing double-glazed windows and doors with sleek black frames in every garden room. Double glazing provides superior insulation against temperature and noise, ensuring a cosy environment throughout the year. The black frames enhance the aesthetic appeal while offering durability and low maintenance. Why not add on Bi-Folds as a stylish extra.

Guttering & Water Butt

Including guttering to channel rainwater away from the roof, preventing erosion and potential water damage to the structure's foundation. By collecting rainwater in a water butt, we harness nature's resource for watering plants, reducing reliance on mains water and promoting sustainability.

Roof

We use rubber roofs in every extension for durability, weather resistance, and sustainability. These roofs protect against moisture, fire, and UV damage, ensuring long-lasting structural integrity while supporting eco-friendly practices. Upgrades to tiles are optional.

Paint & Decorate
